Message from the Pastor

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him.” Revelation 22:2-3

I am Pastor Shawn C. Lovely, Founder and Pastor of Tree of Life Christian Center. I am married to Dayna P. Lovely, a father of five and a native of New Orleans born and raised. In 1995 God spoke to my heart about Pastoring a church. It wasn’t until May 11, 2012 the vision was manifested. It all began in a rent house at 940 Frances Street. 8 months later we transitioned to 5995/5999 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072.

We serve the only true and living God. We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gods agape love is the foundation and central focus of our ministry.

“And now abideth faith, hope and charity; but the greatest of these in charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13. We can experience God’s true genuine love because of Christ and his finish work.”
